Second Annual San Diego Food Blogger Bake Sale – this Saturday!

What are you doing Saturday? If you’re in San Diego, check out the second annual San Diego Food Blogger Bake Sale at Great News! in Pacific Beach. Last year we raised $1750 – help us meet this year’s goal of $2500 by stopping by Great News! Cooking School at 1788 Garnet Avenue, between 10:00AM and 2:00PM.

We’ll have blondies, brownies, cookies, gluten-free goodies and more!

Proceeds benefit Share our Strength, part of a nationwide effort to ensure no kid goes hungry. Stop by our official bake sale blog to get a list of all the great local bloggers helping out this year.

I’m baking these little treats, a recipe I found on Greens and Chocolate thanks to a Secret Recipe Club post I did last year. Taylor, of Greens and Chocolate, assures me these are one of her favorite treats. They’re definitely a favorite in our family – or at least a close tie to the Congo Bars I made for last year’s Bake Sale.

Buy treats for you and your loved ones at the San Diego Food Blogger Bake Sale, this Saturday, April 28, and help Share our Strength win the fight against childhood hunger.

Aw I love this idea! I see this was back in 2012- do you still host events like this?! I’d love to be involved!
