For me, the year starts when the school year starts. I love fall and all the holidays that follow, and I love thinking of summer as the end of the year, with its celebratory BBQ’s, beach picnics and road trips.
So it’s only natural that I view fall as my “spring cleaning” time, and for the next 30 days, I’m planning to sweep through my entire house. I will clean, organize, recycle and donate everything in my path.
Essentially, I’ll assess each item in my house in my attempt to find a place for everything and everything in its place.
To that end, I’m taking a break from the blog, so I can focus my energies on my spring/fall cleaning project. What would you do if you decided to dedicate 30 days to a project?

I think I would decide to do what you are doing, Lisa – or perhaps redo our deck or my herb garden, etc. Good luck!

I would try to do what you are doing. My house certainly needs it! If and when I finished getting the house in order, I would like to organize all the years of photos that are everywhere but in photo books. After that, I would like to finish all the Christmas ornament kits that are sitting unfinished in boxes, instead of on the Christmas tree. I think I would need more than a month.
