As much as I love the traditional foods of Thanksgiving and Christmas, it’s the Fourth of July that really makes my grocery list soar. Grilled meats, fresh corn on the cob, homemade chocolate ice cream, and don’t forget the chips and salsa. And best of all, this menu is completely gluten-free
Every year I think I’m going to try something new, and every year I turn to my favorite, tried-and-true recipes. Which I guess is what tradition is all about, right?!
Whether you’re going to a potluck or sharing your backyard grilling skills with friends, this is an easy menu that adapts to no matter what the neighbors bring.
- Get the party started with chips and salsa, and my cottage cheese guacamole, paired with margaritas.
- Depending on your preference, grill up a cowboy steak or some rosemary chicken.
- For sides, pick up some store-bought potato salad and add a refreshing tomato and corn salad and chopped salad. And don’t forget the corn on the cob!
- And since no grill-out is complete without dessert, whip up some fresh ice cream or Congo bars (aka blondies). (Check out my gluten-free version, here.)
Happy Fourth of July!
